Primary or secondary energy: tide is a primary energy.
Renewable or not renewable: the tide is renobable becuse the oceans contain about 96.5% of all the water on the planet.
Traditional or alternative energy: the tide is a traditional alternative because its energy has been used for years.
Brief definition: sea moviment of ascenrt, by the forces of gravitational attraction that the Sun and especially the Moon, on Earth.
Advantages: Autorenovable, non-polluting, silent, low cost of raw material, does not conentrate population.
Problems: punctual location, dependent on the amplitude of the tides, energy tranfer, vert expensiv.
